Investing in 2017. Tax system in Poland and in 10 European countries

The years 2016 and 2017 are the period of rising number of changes in the tax system in Poland and in many European countries. The amendments to the regulations and the implementations of new provisions oblige the entrepreneurs to introduce in their companies a number of modifications, as well as force the necessity to promptly adjust to the changing legal and tax background. Yet there are signs that we will see more and more such actions in the nearest future.

Poland vs. Europe

No tax system of a country can function independently, leaving behind the economic background. Poland, due to its location – not only geographical but also economic and political, is an important point on the map of Europe. Therefore, tax regulations are a vital element of many discussions and economic analyses.
We are glad of the fact that Poland, as compared to other European countries, still receives very good notes within new investments, as well as is a place of interest of foreign entities considering expansion of their business activity. Despite the very dynamic political situation, such positive atmosphere is undoubtedly influenced by a list of available tax advantages, such as the research and development tax allowance, attractive conditions of Special Economic Zones or the accessibility of well qualified staff – comments Krzysztof Kaczmarek, Managing Partner of TPA Poland.
