Małgorzata Dankowska

Małgorzata is the Partner responsible for advisory team for the real estate sector and the Warsaw tax office, in TPA Poland since 2006.

She specializes in transaction and restructuring advisory. She has extensive experience in handling commercial real estate transactions related to acquisition, disposal and finance restructuring. She has completed numerous restructuring projects related to tax-efficient holding structures and tax-efficient solutions, including mergers, liquidations, or exchange of shares. She also specializes in advisory to investment funds.

Małgorzata is an author and co-author of “What’s new in taxation of Polish Real Estate Market?” (Nowości w opodatkowaniu polskiego rynku nieruchomości), “Taxation in the hotel sector” (Podatki w hotelarstwie), “Institutional investments in the Polish Private Rented Sector” (Inwestycje instytucjonalne w polskim PRS), “Revolution in CIT” (Rewolucja w CIT) and “2017 Transfer Pricing Documentation Guide” (Przewodnik po dokumentacji cen transferowych 2017), as well as “Restructuring of corporations. Tax aspects” (Restrukturyzacje spółek kapitałowych. Aspekty podatkowe). She has been a speaker at many tax conferences and workshops. In 2013 Małgorzata was awarded the second place of the Best Tax Advisor in Poland in M&A by Dziennik Gazeta Prawna. She has also been awarded the “Highly Regarded: title by International Tax Review four times (2017, 2018, 2019, 2020).

Małgorzata is a certified tax advisor and a member of IFA (International Fiscal Association) and REIT Poland Association. She has graduated from the University of Economics in Poznań, holds a post-graduate diploma in tax law from Warsaw School of Economics, and has finished a post-graduate study in the field of bookkeeping.
