For four days, the Polish capital became a global hub for international knowledge and experience exchange. From October 21–24, Warsaw hosted a unique dual event – the Global Advisory and Tax Conference, organized by Baker Tilly.
Nearly 200 representatives of the Baker Tilly International network from all countries where the organization operates took part in the event. Participants discussed how the global advisory community can support clients even more effectively by leveraging modern technologies, innovative approaches, and the power of international collaboration.
This year’s plenary sessions, expert panels, and workshops focused on the changes shaping the modern advisory landscape – from the transformation of advisory and tax services, through skills development and global knowledge management, to the role of data and technology in creating lasting value for clients in a rapidly changing business environment, helping them achieve success.
As part of the event, a dedicated CIT and transfer pricing training for managers was also held. Participants had the opportunity not only to learn about the latest updates and regulations, but also to connect with experts from across our global group and exchange experiences, insights, and perspectives shaping today’s tax landscape. During the dedicated workshops, participants discussed, among other topics, the latest legislative changes in CIT as well as key concepts and principles guiding everyday transfer pricing practice. These sessions provided valuable opportunities to deepen knowledge, strengthen team competencies, and enhance collaboration in the field of tax advisory.
The discussions highlighted that, regardless of country of origin, we all face similar challenges – and that is precisely why working together is so important. The meetings in Warsaw were not only an opportunity to learn, but also to strengthen relationships – something that participants unanimously recognized as the greatest strength of our network.
