They include tailored support at local and transnational level, which includes both the sum of our experts’ knowledge and experience, as well as TPA’s organizational culture.
With our strong roots in Central and Southeastern Europe, we fully understand the legal, financial, economic, cultural and political environment for doing business in this part of the world.
Face to Face Business
Our most important tools are not calculators and spreadsheets, but rather a careful eye, sensitive ear, good memory and honest conversation. In partnership, with great commitment and in close contact with the clients and their business – this is how we solve problems and find the best solutions. This is also how we understand and implement our credo every day: Face to Face Business. Both at the regional and international level.
TPA: Regional roots. Global network.
TPA Poland is an independent member of Baker Tilly International, which means it can offer its clients services of one of the world’s largest networks of tax advisors, auditors, accountants and business consultants.
The Baker Tilly International network includes over 126 independent member companies employing over 34,000 people in 746 offices across 145 countries, which makes Baker Tilly International one of the top 10 global business advisory and audit firms.

The history of TPA
TPA (acronym for Treuhand Partner Austria) was founded in 1979 in Langenlois, Lower Austria. It would grow rapidly from the very beginning. In the early 90s, it also started its expansion in the markets of Central and Southeastern Europe.
In 2005, the company’s name was changed to “TPA Horwath” following its entry into the global network of Crowe Horwath International.
Autumn 2016 saw yet another important change. Since then, in all CEE and SEE countries, we continue to operate as a separate entity under the brand name TPA, within the global Baker Tilly International network of 126 independent companies with more than 34,000 employees in 746 offices across 145 countries.
Thanks to this initiative, TPA has been significantly expanding its development potential in the German-speaking area, while maintaining and strengthening the benefits of membership in one of the largest networks of consulting companies in the world.
On February 15, 2018, through a merger with a law firm W/IRP, TPA Poland extended the scope of its multidisciplinary competencies with legal advisory. The dynamically developing team, operating under the Baker Tilly Woroszylska Legal brand, specializes in providing services to Polish and foreign entrepreneurs in the areas of real estate, corporate services, litigation, restructuring, and labor law. The Law Firm’s clients include top real estate development companies, investment funds, banking and manufacturing companies. The lawyers of the Law Firm, employed in two offices in Warsaw and Poznań, are characterized by their experience and expert knowledge gained in leading international law firms, as well as their in-depth knowledge of the markets in which our clients operate.

TPA Poland is constantly developing to provide its clients with a comprehensive range of services. And thus, following an agreement concluded on September 2, 2019, over 60 experts and tax, accounting and audit specialists, so far operating under the Moore Stephens Central Audit brand, joined the Warsaw-based tax advisory, audit, accounting and payroll outsourcing teams of TPA Poland. As a result of the merger, with its team of more than 270 experts and turnover exceeding EUR 13.5 million in 2019, TPA Poland now ranks among the largest and most dynamically developing consulting companies.
