During the 9th edition of EuropaProperty CEE Retail Awards, TPA Poland was again recognized as the Tax & Financial Adviser of the Year.
The ceremonious Gala, when awards were presented in 4 main categories, was preceded by the whole-day Forum. Among over 450 participants, who represented the retail sector, commercial real estates and investors, there were many key players and experts from the Central and Eastern Europe, including Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Austria, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Ukraine.
The independent, international Jury, composed of the leading representatives of the sectors, awarded companies who had accomplished outstanding achievements in the preceding year. Małgorzata Dankowska, a TPA Poland partner, Head of Real Estate Division in Warsaw Office, a member of the Jury, said after the official announcement of the winners: The real estate sector in Poland is still in its growth phase. It has been confirmed by many new investments and the presence of new players on the market. Congratulations to all the winners on the awards, making the right decisions, achieving good results, and we are keeping our fingers crossed for more successes to come.
When selecting the winners in the Retailers category, the jury followed the criteria like innovativeness, expansion, engagement, the market share, as well as the success of an enterprise. Assessing the best Projects (Project categories), members of the Jury paid attention to quality and cost-effectiveness, as well as the utility aspects of the investments, whose at least one phase was completed in 2016. The choice of best companies (Company categories) on the real estate market was decided by such factors as the market share and its penetration, quality of customer service, innovativeness and the market success.
