TPA Poland

After less than a year from taking the position of the Hotel and Tourism Consulting Team Director, Dariusz Futoma received a nomination for a Horwath HTL Polish practice partnership with the effect from 1 January 2016. Horwath HTL is the global advisor to the hotel and tourism sector with more than century-long tradition. In Poland starting from 2009, a tailor made package of industry specific advisory services was offered to hoteliers and international chains. The cooperation with TPA Horwath Poland ensured even more comprehensive range of services supported by reinforced competencies.

Dariusz Futoma is associated with the hotel industry for 15 years. His extensive strategic and operational experience comes from the Polish hotel market as well as those further of Eastern Europe. In March 2015 he joined Horwath HTL Poland to become the Horwath HTL Director. Prior to finding his way to consulting, he worked as a Sales and Marketing Director at the Jan III Sobieski Hotel, simultaneously coordinating the Polish Prestige Hotels & Resorts in Poland marketing programme. During the course of his five year stint at the Rezidor Group chain, he was the Sales and Marketing Director at the Radisson SAS in Kiev, Ukraine (the first international hotel in Ukraine), and then worked at one of the largest hotels in Europe, the 1200 room Park Inn by Radisson Pribaltiyskaya in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Upon his return to Poland in 2009, he assumed the General Manager’s position at the Scandic Gdańsk Hotel and then became President of the Board at Investon being part of PHN Group. In recent years, as a Director of Development in Central and Eastern Europe in DAKO Professional Team, he was responsible for the outsourcing services development in the hotel industry, amongst others in Russia and during the Olympics.

Dariusz Futoma graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at Warsaw University and Executive MBA Rotterdam of School of Management & Association in Management Education, Erasmus Graduate School of Business and Gdańsk Foundation for Management Development.
